Our Gaeltacht Summer Courses are for students aged 8 – 18 years/ Cursaí Gaeilge le haghaigh gach aoisghrúpa idir 8 – 18 mbliana.

The Gaeltacht Summer Courses we provide are for the following levels:

Primary School Pupils - (2^nd, 3^rd, 4^th , 5^th & 6^th class)

We have designed special courses for Primary School Students paying particular emphasis on those who are going into 3^rd, 4^th, 5^th and 6^th classes. We give special attention to organise suitable afternoon activities for our younger students which will enable them to speak Irish in a happy and playful environment.

Secondary School Pupils

Junior Certificate (1^st, 2^nd & 3^rd Years)

Our Junior Certificate courses are suitable for students who are in 1^st, 2^nd and 3^rd year in secondary school. This level will require students to have a good knowledge of spoken and written Irish. This course is designed around the Junior Certificate curriculum with a particular focus on oral, aural and written Irish. We place special emphasis on topics linked to the student’s own life and surroundings.

Leaving Certificate (4^th, 5^th & 6^th Years)

We have designed a special course for Leaving Certificate Students which is aimed to benefit students who will sit the Leaving Certificate Examination next summer. All aspects of the Leaving Certificate course will be covered with a strong emphasis on the spoken language in particular developing the student’s oral, aural and communication skills. This will help the students gain the requisite skills to face their Leaving Certificate examination, in particular their Oral and Aural Irish Language Examinations. This course includes an extra class every afternoon and is very much exam focused. Please note it is optional for Leaving Certificate Students to participate in the sporting and cultural activities. Halloween Revision Courses/ Cúrsa Athbhreithniú Shamhna

Our Halloween Course is for students aged 8 – 18 years*: 10 am - 1 pm each day.

4 day Revision Course from Tuesday 1st to Friday 4th November 2011.

Throughout the course we provide a positive, inclusive and happy learning experience while ensuring that solid progress takes place in mastering the essentials of the oral/aural and written components of the language.

• Specially prepared notes and handouts will be provided.
• Students will be advised on how to improve performance to get better marks.
• Students can talk to their teachers and seek help with problems.
• Enjoyment and satisfaction is a large element of our courses.
